Would anyone else love to see a gangster film with an ensemble cast of "Who's Who" Gangster actors? I think if done right it'd be amazing. Think a TV series along the lines of Game of Thrones in scope--which would account for the many actors. It'd be fictional families and groups but based on historical figures and events, like the Godfather. Multiple families, with some Irish, Russian, Latin and Black gangs in there as well as a Police/FBI element.

I'd want:
Al Pacino
Robert DeNiro
Christopher Walken
James Gandolfini
Harvey Keitel
Vincent Pastore
John Travolta
Joe Pesci
David Proval
Michael Imperioli
Tony Siricio
Dominic Chianese
Joe Pantoliano
Steve Buschemi
Frank Vincent
Joseph Siravo
Michael Rispoli
Michael Madsen
Dennis Farina
Vin Diesel
Steven Seagal
Federico Castelluccio

John Leguizamo
Cheech Marin
Luis Guzman

Leonardo DiCaprio
Bruce Willis

Samuel L. Jackson
Ving Rhames
Wesley Snipes

I'd love to see some of these guys in different crews or different families from each other. Like not a rehash of the Sopranos. I'd love to see James Gandolfini as a soldier or Capo, never a Boss, or Steve Buschemi as a Consigliere of one family. I could picture Pacino playing a good, tired and aged but loyal Underboss (ala Neil Dellacroce).

I'd love to see Rispoli as a Boss, as well as Imperioli, rather than having him be a subordinate.

Who would you pick?

Thats an amazing cast, but i dout the director could get them all in the same place at the same time..
