My question wasn't answered in the other thread so I'll start a new topic about it.

Did Frankie ever come to the realization that it wasn't Michael who ordered the hit on him? I never picked up on whether he did or not, I know he had the conversation with Tom, but I never have taken that to mean he figured out it wasn't Mike. Is that conversation supposed to show he did figure it out?

Yes Frankie figured it out when his brother showed up at the hearing, and this is further fleshed out when Frankie and Tom meet and discuss what is to be done while they are smoking cigars.

I don't think so. The conversation with Tom and the appearance of his brother at the hearing were salient indications that Mike had his eyes on Frankie. He knew that since Mike failedto kill him, Mike was going to get him indirectly.
