Who else watches this awesome show created by a writer from The Sopranos?

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Hi LN,

I watch Mad Men and do enjoy the show. I hated that it was 17 months between last season and this but I do like the show. Hard as I tried I couldn't stay awake to watch last night's episode. I plan to catch it on "On Demand" today or tomorrow. smile

Do you also watch "The Killing" which is also on AMC just before Mad Men?

Needless to say I am EXHAUSTED right now.

I was wondering why they had Betty Draper so much heavier this season. Don seems to be (or will soon be) having marital problems I think.

Also, I loved the scene where Don and his co-worker were back stage at a Stones concert trying to meet them and get them to endorse/do a commercial for "Heinz" catsup singing "Heinz is on my side." LOL lol

Good season. I didn't catch the last episode but if we havfe to wait another 2 years for the next season I think I've just about lost interest.

The season was good, my expectations were a bit high I guess. But I still enjoyed it, i read that the next season wont take 2 yrs to air but it will take some time.

I like the era of the show and the stories are pretty good. Yea, I was shocked at the one scene in the finale. It just didn't seem like Don Draper. uhwhat Glad it was a dream as well.

However, I'm kind of losing interest. Partially for having to wait so long for this season AND with the seasons being so short, and consisting of not that many episodes, I'm debating if I'm gonna continue to watch it. ohwell

I've seen all the episodes season 5 was great but 12 episodes is too short it should be 24

That's the way many of these cable shows are AND they not only have a short season but they have WAY too much time between seasons. (ie, True Blood, White Collar, Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire). mad

Personally, I don't mind the short seasons on shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire...really all the good shows on tv now, because if they did 30 episode seasons it would guarantee filler episodes or acting like tv murder mystery procedurals.

This is specifically why I don't watch crap like CSI or any of the Law and Order knockoffs. I think this is also why the new show about 40s Vegas with Michael Chiklis won't work, which sucks, because if that show was HBO it would be awesome.
