Has anybody seen this mob movie? I just saw it last night on Netflix for the first time and I have to say it is very well done and quite good. It has won tons of awards and I read that the film often flies under the radar of most people because it came out around the same time as Goodfellas.

I highly recommend checking it out.

Actually, I watched it two years ago and was surprised that I liked it so much. Couldn't quite get used to Ben Kingsley as Meyer Lansky though.

What I always found funny is that it came out in the same year as Goodfellas, yet the movie seems much older.

I like the movie very much. At times I thought it was too "light hearted" but maybe that is what set it apart from others? Beatty & Bening were terrific.

Too many historical inaccuracies to list, but still a thoroughly enjoyable flick. I loved it.

"Bugsy" is one of those movies that gets better every time I see it. Beatty's masterpiece, though the rest of the cast, starting with Bening, is just as good. Production is superb. Yes, many inaccuracies but it's a damn good story.

Too lovey dovey for my liking. The whole movie is pretty much based on his relationship with Virginia Hill.

Indeed. This was prolly one of the first movies about the mafia I remember seeing as a young kid. Either that or Mobsters.

Both are pretty inacurrate but overall entertaining.
