only 24 been a reader on this site for a while but one of my buddies has a part time job at a funeral home up on board street.. long story short rumor is frank and phil narudccis mother died a while back .. the pungitores who joseph was one of the shooters in frank narducci sr murder showed up and paid there respects.. would you left bygones be bygones or feel somewhat sort of way about it?

Well, one time Detective Frank Friel of the Philly PD tried to get one of the Narducci boys to flip by stressing that he was now working for the organization that murdered his father. Narducci's response was something like "I'll help you if you can bring him back to life. Otherwise forget about it."

I personally would have trouble remaining civil in the presence of someone who had brought about the death of my father, even if he apologized profusely, but I'm not a gangster.

Well there was a hit squad after Caramandi when the Narducci brothers mother saw him and Joe Solarno's father got shot when he ratted, as did Veasy's brother. Ligambi does seem a little gun shy but I certainly wouldn't want to test my luck if I ratted on a guy like Joey Merlino or Borgesi. Those guys strike me as the type who wouldn't let it slide.

they probally do live in the area.. im from south philly and i couldnt imagine living any where else esp some of the places they may stick u in the witness protection like des moines iowa or fargo so i wouldnt be surpised if alot of the boys get home sick.. plus the philly mob is probally one of the only families that recruit out of one part of the city in south philly .. i bet you could rat abnd go live in delware county or the another part of philly and no one would ever know.. i think it was tommy del or the crow that said "how can you run a city when you cant find it"
