Kirby was always fun to watch and I enjoyed doing so from way back in the early 70's when he starred with Richard Castellano (Clemenza) and Ardell Sheridan (Mrs. Clemenza) on a tv series called "The Super" (Kirby played their son). He had a small but powerful role in "Sleepers" (as one of the boys' father) in which he was wonderful. One of the funniest bits I've ever seen in any movie included him and Billy Crystal in the batting cage in "When Harry Met Sally". A little bit of trivia - he appeared in one of the early episodes of "Colombo" with his dad (when his father was a regular on the show). I'll miss him. .

I'll repeat here that he was marvelous as the young Pete Clemenza, especially in the scene where they get the carpet, and the other scene when they are putting up the Genco sign and he is filling his face with food.
