Oli,

Is that the show that's a 3 part series on 3 different nights & 3 different networks (USA. LifetimemI think). I've been seeing previews AND is "Bonnie & Clyde" part of that series or another show? confused

TIS, as far as I know B&C is a separate show. I'm not sure about GS though. I believe it was shown in theaters.

Is TV Land now the official home to has-been sitcom stars?

Geez, I tried to take five minutes of Kirstie Alley's new show the other night. And all I could feel for her, Michael Richards and Rhea Perlman was pity.

Oli,

I was wrong. I believe the series I was thinking of is Mob City. I know it's a 3 part tv mini-series. Btw, Walking Dead fans, the actor who played Shane,Jon Bernthal, is starring.

I was watching a very early episode of the Andy Griffith Show, in which Andy was appointed to be a judge of a beauty pageant at the Mayberry town festival. In an early scene Andy has a conversation with the mayor in Floyd's Barber Shop, and I noticed that while the mayor was speaking, Floyd was behind him actually mouthing the words of the mayor's dialogue as the mayor spoke his lines.

I know sitcoms were still in their infancy, but I wonder how that got unnoticed.

I'll watch for that scene next time around. I watch it every morning and evening when I can. I also use a couple of its episodes in my classes.

Very good 3 part show I have just watched on the BBC, called PILGRIMAGE with Simon Reeve. He explores old medieval pilgrim routes in the UK, where he goes to Holy Island (which is up in my neck of the woods) and Canterbury, then France, Spain and Rome. Finally he goes to the Holy Land, where he visits Nazareth, Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Fascinating stuff. Did anybody know that in Jerusalem there is an American chap, dressed as Jesus, who has spent the last 6 years walking up and down the Via Dolarosa??

Worth a watch if anybody can get

I've always enjoyed drama more than comedy. I just watched an old episode of Perry Mason and Ironside.

For whatever reason, I got offered 3 months of Showtime from Time Warner (currently on movie channel I have is HBO). Their "On Demand" has ALL episodes/seasons of HomeLand. I watched the first two episodes last night. Not bad but I'm assuming it'll get better. Hopefully I can find time to see them all within this three month period.

I wonder how decisions are made about what programs become on demand. I wish they would list Frasier.

While watching The Big Bang Theory I saw a Hershey's commercial (link below). Watch the commercial; it goes by pretty fast, but near its conclusion you'll see what appear to be 3 teenage girls sitting together. I can't tell what they are wearing. Maybe shorts; maybe skirts. In any case, carefully view the girl on the far right; do you see what I see?: an upskirt?

If so, yes, I am quite surprised that Hershey's would run it.

I think I'm the only one who watches "Hostages" but it's returning tonight with two new back to back episodes. I am looking forward to watching. smile I hear it's not gonna get renewed and I'm really disappointed. I like it better than "The Blacklist" (which is also good).

The BBC flagship show, SHERLOCK returned in the New Year with 3 episodes (only 2 been on so far). Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman this is one of the best things on TV in ages period. Brilliant writing and acting, watch it if you can. Superb.

Hey, Tis. You know what I wanted to ask you? Have you seen "Two and a Half Men" lately?

The show sucks. It's not even a shadow of what it used to be. But I caught a few minutes a few weeks ago and noticed that they wrote in a character who's supposed to be Charlie's long lost daughter. And of course she's a drunken lesbian rolleyes lol.

Anyway, do you know who she is? Her name is Amber Tamblyn. She's Russ Tamblyn's daughter. Russ Tamblyn played Riff in "West Side Story."

I agree. I've only watched minutes of it, but those minutes were plagued by plot reaches. Also, the introduction of Charlie's daughter is characteristic of the show's reaching. I'd rather watch reruns of The Big Bang Theory.

Hey PB,

I do watch (tho not regularly) Two & Half Men. Call me odd, but I actually don't mind it EXCEPT it gets a little too raw for my taste at times, but then it did also with Charlie Sheen as well. I don't watch regularly for that reason and because I prefer drama shows to comedy.

Yes, Charlie's daughter is a drinking lesbian. I didn't know she was Russ Tamblyn's daughter though. I sure do remember him from West Side Story AND I believe he was "Tom Thumb" in I think, a Disney movie?? confused Don't ask my why I remember that, but as a kid, I liked that movie.

Now I'll have to take a another look at Amber Tamblyn to see if I see a resemblance to her dad.
