Well if that's her, she's one of the scariest I've ever seen.

But really, I want to find out what movie it was. I can't remember any of the actors; none were familiar to me. I searched the TCM database to no avail.

Oli,

The story line doesn't ring bells. How old is the movie? You don't know any actors in it? Also, I assume it's a horror movie. confused

I think it's from the 60s, b/w. I didn't recognize anyone in it, but I only watched it for a few minutes. I also saw it many, many years ago when I probably watched the whole thing. The monster in it would appear as just a swirling image of sorts off in the distance, then as it got closer its shape would become more evident. And, yes, it's a horror movie about devil worship or some such.

You should sign up for this site - http://www.movieforums.com/community/ and ask on the movie questions part of the site. Whenever i can't find a movie i ask on this site, there's a guy who's basically seen every film ever lol and he usually gets it, even with the most vague details.

Worked like a charm. the movie is Night of the Demon with Dana Andrews. The demon is just about the scariest monster I've ever seen a in a movie.

I remember Dana Andrews but can't say I know that film Oli.

I'm watching "Spike" tv which is showing Stephen King's "It." Should give SB a call and let her know it's on. She really loves the cute/cuddly Pennywise. lol

Actually he is very creepy!!!!!!

VHI is airing a McCartney/Wings concert from 1976, with songs from the Venus & Mars LP. Kind of enjoying songs I haven't heard in a long time. I know I have (had) the album somewhere.

Paul looks so young and cute. smile

I always thought that was a weak entry in the King portfolio along with the Langoliers.

I didn't think it was bad. Pennywise was a big plus to that film IMHO.

I watched "Come Back, Little Sheba" recently. It starred Burt Lancaster, but the acting performance of Shirley Booth, who is known as playing the lead role in the old tv series, Hazel, was outstanding. Her academy award for this role was well deserved.

A recent comedy show from the UK is winding it's way over the pond. It is called VICIOUS and stars no less than Sir Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi as a gay couple who don't get on very well. It also stars Frances De La tour and a young fella who plays the deranged guy in Game of Thrones in series 3. The one who kidnaps Theon???

Anyways, watch out for this cos it is wickedly funny!! McKellen is an absolute hoot!!

Anybody catch Chazz Palmenteri on Blue Bloods last week? He played a mob lawyer who survived an attempted hit. His character was a childhood friend of Tom Selleck's character. Good episode for all of you fellow Blue Blood fans...

Didn't see it only read about it. Brian the talking dog died. If a cartoon can have an unexpected twist, this was it.

It was a while that I wanted to stop watching Family Guy. I don't think replacing Brian is going to change my mind. It is not good anymore.

AMC is having a Hitchcock marathon. Right now, the one and only "Psycho." "We all go a little mad sometimes" "The Birds" follows.

can't say i disagree with you about the show not being good anymore, but just fyi the dog that is replacing brian is voiced by the actor Tony Sirico who played Paulie Walnuts and hes signed on for at least the next 6 episodes, the dogs name is Vinny and his breed is a "pussy hound"lol, so i know ill start watching the show again just for that.

I watched a good portion of the live theatrical version of the Sound of Music last night with Carrie Underwood. I give her credit for sticking her neck out in such a project that was beyond her comfort level. But her acting was flat and dry.

Amen to that, Klyd! Sound of Music is one of my favorite musicals, and I couldn't wait to change the channel.

Well, I watched the Gangster Squad. Pretty much run of the mill. But I couldn't figure out if it was actually a cigarette ad.
