Alot of the money they made from writing numbers or having dice games went back into financing drug deals and white slavery rings e.g. al capone, lucky luciano. I think that some people are naive when trying to talk about the so called good qualities of the mob.

Back to the Veasey thing it seems like they still fear him more than he fears them.I still think one way or another he would still like to get revenge for his brother's murder.Some people said it was a brother for a brother buy not really.Not that Mikey chang deserved it but he was a player so you know how that goes.Billy Veasey really wasn't a player,I mean he was no angel but he was an easy target.When Johnny Chang was running that news stand[I heard no longer does]I always thought that's a business that starts early AM and he would have been an easy target for Veasey in that early morning peacefulness.I just always thought that was risky maybe he did too and that's why they pulled the plug on it.

I just think Veasey should not be on tv giving interviews. I think he misses the attention a little bit.
