Are most of these things true?
Who backs these type of things and sends it around. Dems?
or are people really unhappy about what is going on in America
Tea Party?
all the states have people sleeping in parks with complains about big business and goverment failure...
whats really up out there?

Barack Obama's 32 Month Report Card

Mr. Hope and Change wants to create a nation humbled; humiliated, casting-aside capitalism and individual freedoms for one where “we the people” are government controlled. This would be a system that genuflects mediocrity, steals personal aspiration and opportunity, and punishes those who strive to succeed.

A gallon of regular gasoline the day Obama was inaugurated was $1.79 on average in the U.S. Today that price is $3.59, a 100.6% increase. The number of food stamp recipients has risen since Obama took office from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, a 35.1% jump. Long term unemployment soared 146.2% during the same 32 month period from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000. Staggering “hope and change” isn't it?

American citizens living in poverty have risen 9.5% from 39,800,000 to 43,600,000, and the number of unemployed has jumped almost 25% from 11,616,000 to 14,485,000 as of August 31, 2011. The number of unemployed blacks has risen from 12.6% at the end of George Bush's term to 15.8% today, a 25.4% increase, and finally, our national debt is up 34.4% from 10.627 trillion to 14,278 trillion *

Keep these figures in mind as we recount the number of “firsts” for this presidency:

First President to refuse to show a valid birth certificate.

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit rating of the United States .

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico .

First President to defy a Federal Judges court order to cease implementing the Health Care Reform Law.

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.

First President to spend a trillion dollars on shovel-ready jobs and later admit there was no such thing as shovel-ready jobs.

First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S. , including those with cr imi nal convictions.

First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

First President to terminate Americas ability to put a man in space.

First President to encourage racial discr imi nation and int imi dation at polling places.

First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly speak-out on the reasons for their rate increases.

First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state they are allowed to locate a factory.

First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (Az, WI, OH, IN)

First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.

First President to fire an inspector general of Ameri-corps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.

First President to appoint 45 Czars to replace elected officials in his office.

First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office.

First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.

First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.

First President to coddle American enemies while alienating Americas allies.

First President to publicly bow to Americas enemies while refusing to salute the U.S. Flag.

First President to go on multiple global apology tours.

First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends, paid for by the taxpayer.

First President to refuse to wear the U.S. Flag lapel pin.

First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.

First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000.00 a year at taxpayer expense.

First President to repeat “the Holy Qur'an tells us,” and openly admit “the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.”

Remember that 32 months of Obama White House we the people have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our nation's entire history, as the Obama's plan their next extravagant vacation to the Indonesian Island nation of Bali .

Hope and change anyone?

I don't think Carroll needed to go through that whole litany to get to the bottom line: The job is too big for Obama. He doesn't have the temperment to be an effective president. He has no empathy for average people. He treats major issues as problems to be solved by his "experts." He's a brilliant orator but a poor communicator: oration is one-way, communication is two-way and requires listening to others. He threw out a big idea--health care reform--and said nothing for months, letting the opposition convince millions of Americans that it would harm them. He continued the bailout of the companies whose greed, incompetence and corruption nearly destroyed out economy--and didn't say word-one about jobs. It took him more than a week to comment on the Gulf oil spill--and weeks before he finally challenged BP's estimate of leakage.

The most recent revealing incident of Obama's lack of empathy, IMO:

S&P's downgrade of America's credit rating will mean little or nothing to most Americans. But most Americans predictably saw it as another example of our nation's decline. Obama saw it coming--and ignored it. Didn't make a statement until three days after the downgrade, and only after the stock market plunged.

He just doesn't have what it takes.

Well, there is no intelligence test for publications. But it's fun to read and comment. Just a few rebuttals if you will:

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party. - Actually, it's the Congress that imposes that requirement and it is not being imposed.

First President to order a secret amnesty program ... - If it's secret, how does anyone know?

First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it. - President Andrew Jackson refused to recognize the charter of the National Bank and withdrew Trasury funds from it.

First President to appoint 45 Czars to replace elected officials in his office. - There are only two elected officals in the Executive Branch: one is the President and the other is the Vice-President. Neither of those has been replaced.

First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office. - "Typically, [President] Harding played golf two afternoons a week." from A President at Play by David Sowell.

Also, the nonsense about his birth certificate and applying for college funds as a foreigner have been refuted. As for his wife's staff, Ladybird Johnson, Betty Ford, Laura Bush and Jackie Kennedy all had larger staffs.

Looks like this "article" cut and pasted from all the crazy rumors that have been going around and put them together.

As for TB's statement, if you have a legitimate gripe with the man's presidency, and give solid, logical reasoning as to why, then fine. But my question is, if he is going to be so easy to beat because of sheer incompetence, then why does the opposition have to come at him waving a bunch of BS??

Can we create a rule against people posting topics based off some bullshit "topic" they got in their e-mail box because someone forwarded it to them or something?

Most of that list is completely false. Bottom line is there are about 25% of the country who HATE Obama, and I believe they are racists.

He is somewhat aloof and comes off that way. But can you imagine what Bush would do if he killed Bin Laden and ousted Gadaffi? Good Lord we's have 20 "mission accomplished" flights.

If you look at the polls, it is likely he will be re-elected, so haters like fatherson can continue with their drivel.

What I hope we would create is a limitation on the number of words posted. FS, you could have posted just a few criticisms, "facts", followed by links to your sources. Why post so much that it takes several hits of the scroll button to read the whole thing?

This is such a pack of lies, it should be removed from the boards. Three cases in point:

First president to defy a judge's order by pressing health care reform. The orders (and they go both ways) are all stayed pending appeal, and are without effect, so there is nothing to "defy."

First president to refuse to show valid birth certificate....also he was the first person who was asked to show one, and he didn't refuse, the State of Hawaii refused to give up the long form one until he asked them to do so. Of course all the morons are now saying that is a fake.


Best of all / first president to encourage racial discrimination at polling places....what happened between 1776 and the voting rights act?

There's little doubt that alot of the opposition to Obama is racial. They resented this guy from day 1. Now saying that, he really hasn't helped himself by being so laid back. I'd love to see him go after people like they go after him but it's just not in his DNA makeup. He was lucky the democratic nomination process ended because Hillary was closing in on him and i think if she had another month it might have had a different outcome. Hillary is a street fighter imo, Obama isn't, he's just not made that way. Sometimes i think he's too damn nice of a guy for his own good. Fight, let it all hang out balls to the wall and if you don't get re-elected then at least you did what you wanted to do and what you thought was right.

If there's a chocolate coconut in that box he's got my vote in 2012 .

Who the #@$% is Richard Carroll and why should I care what he has to say? And form your own opinions - don't post others under the disclaimer that you don't mean to beat down Obama with it. If that is the kind of thing that comes in your email several times in one week you need to get a better spam filter.

I agree that a lot of the anti-Obama rhetoric is racially motivated, but I don't think it's fair to classify every white guy who with disagrees with Obama's policies as "racist." I mean, look at what our own Turnbull had to say. Whether you agree with him or not, we should all be intelligent and literate enough to voice an opinion like he does .

There are plenty of people who do not agree with Obama, and who have honest differences and/or critcism. I did not mean to imply all of these people are racists...most certainly TB is NOT, and his criticism has some validity to it, although I respectfully do not agree.

I objected to the length of FS's post, not the content. I don't think any of it warrants or indicates perjorative motives. It's interesting to read what some people are stating about the President. It's also good to know. For the sake of brevity, above I posted just a few refutations of a FS's post content. A couple Board members did the same. That's the best counter. We didn't cross over to racism motives.

Just about everything in the list is demonstrably false. It is primarily stuff sent back and forth among the opposition in order to bolster up their feeling that they are correct.

There are honorable reasons to oppose the current President or oppose his policies-I vociferously disagree with the Affordable Care Individual Mandate- as I've written before, but if this is the sort of stuff that right-wingers are relying on to get themselves amped up for next year's election it says some unfortunate things about them.
