Seem like the son of murdered mafioso Joe Lopresti, was gunned down last night in Saint- Laurent.

The article indicates that Lopresti was still active and close to Antonio Pietrantonio, AKA TONY SUZUKI, in activities such as heroin and loan sharking.

Apparently there was a meeting that took place a few weeks ago in Little Italy between Lopresti`s crew and other members, including one influential street gang member.

Lopresti was also known to dislike the Calabrians. According police sources, this would be a ``hot`` year.

maybe lopresti wantend revenge the killing of his father (sure ordered by vito rizzuto) and take over the head of the family
i think this murder and the attempted murder of dimaulo's brother in law is a reaction of them

When i first heard reports that he was shot on a "balcony" i was thinking "another sniper kill like Nick Sr.!" turns out its a ground floor balcony.
