Kansas city lost another member of its mob past with the passing of Baldesaro "Bennie" Palmentere, he is not to be confused with his son Bennie who is also a made guy. Baldesaro worked for the family as a management member of Teamsters local 41 during its heyday in the 70's, he also owned Palmentere Brothers trucking and they were known to have a few trucks disappear allow with several other trucking companys. As they were then they are today, the Palmentere family is an important spoke in the KC crews wheel. The old man also owned a variety of clubs and businesses which were used as gambling houses. The only fact you have right in your entir post is it is true Mr. Palmentere did pass away. He does not own a trucking company and his son Bennie is a very successful Funchal advisor and high school football coach. The Palmentere family are good people and if you had time to research Mr. palmentere's obit guest book you would read what a wonderful person he was. One thing Bennie use to say, "if you don't have anything good to say about someone then don't say anything at all".
