I heard about Joe Massino being threatened with the death penalty which was a cause for making him flip. Did the other bosses get jailed for actual murders or just ordering murders? I don't really know if it would make a difference but your questions are very interesting.
How old is massino ?? He's not a dumb man, he knows he would never be put to death, especially in nyc !! By the time all his appeals and the bleeding hearts time ran out he would die of natural causes !! It just sounds better then ''i snitched on all my underlings who did my bidding cause maybe one day i can get out and join my wife who got to keep some of my ill gotten gains''
