Thanks SPMOB.. I have family in Montco, The mastarnado brothers have blue blood in them with Rizzo they resided in Blue Bell. Remember they surrended all day money to the FEDS and the leading proceuter was Bruce Castor for Montgomery County, then a few years down the road they get busted again, and Castor is there DEFENSE ATTORNEY, don't think they tried touching that with a 10 foot pole.

People in leadership positions like to gamble including politicians, police officers on the local and state level. They round up people now and then which usually is a gulity plea with a hefty fine and probation. Jersey is different I don't know the way the law works there as good as I do in PA.

Rocco Mansicolo if I knew how to upload a video on to this messege board and showed you the street he lived on, I mean theres a million different ways to assassinate someone who lives in a SP Rowhome.

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure Rocco was in the drug game, and Italian or Not (THATS A WHOLE DIFFERENT BALLPARK)

I went out around their company a few times, it was basically all the crew he was put away with, save John Ciangalini and also Frank Gambino (who got a very raw deal in all of that), along with Anthony Nicodemo and Rodger Vella who were always around him.

They were always at either 8th floor, Legends or Libations (before it became a lesbo joint) 8th Floor they never paid from what i seen, Legends they got a $100 bill and Libations which was owned by Steve Mazzones brother they drank for free.

Sterotyping a typical day for a SP Gangster

Slumlord -own a few apartments to rent out..

Sell drugs till u get busted..then just do a book because its less time..bolshit and not work...Sell Drugs n Get Foodstamps lol

I stopped by a barbershop and overheard the one guy yelling to the other guy.. "Don't let anyone fool ya..de go for 60 cents on the dollar

Some people love the persona n have ego of being a wiseguy when they get everything for free thanks to the federal government and just sell drugs which is obviously not taxed.

As much as Staino gets abused, the guy got up and went to work everyday from what GA says.

What did Merlino and the boys do when he was boss? Staino, Lucibello, Lance, any of these guys..

Also, nobody ever tells stories about Borgesi. Any good ones?

here in NY i know a handful of people that currently or used to run book and none of them had any LCN ties at all. none of them, besides one, would ever ever ever lay anything off, either. I think its easier today to run an (obviously smaller scale) independent book with the internet - not talking about the big powerhouse sites like bodog but smaller ones that are customizable and just log transactions but the money is still cash handled offline. I'm sure if these people I knew were taking bets on staten island or something they'd run into problems though lol

regarding the Philly family posts - keep em coming. There really hasn't been much going on in LCN News beide Philly lately

when i was young in the early/mid 90's my dad and godfather (his bro) had a small business (bodega) and hey used to have joker pokder machines in the back that all the junkies/drunks used to spend their money on, recently i brought this up with my dad and he was like the machines belonged to some puerto rican drug dealer who was working on behalf of an "italian"

Well last year while I was visiting my godfather at his small business in the bronx some Albanians came in and basically wanted to talk with him about putting some "popular machines in his store" aka joker poker machines once they spotted all the cameras, etc and the fact that we had no interest they left

btw i am hispanic (dominican) but born and raised in nyc

Why did Rocco Maniscalco get killed then if there are so many independetnt bookies now? I'm not questioning what you're saying, just curious as to what happened with him.

Another question is, why don't we see more busts of these independent bookies? As I said, there have been a few here and there over the years but they are in the minority.

what specifically is not the truth? we are open to debates we have them all the time but our debates are about substance and contain very little if no childish name calling
