This link may have been posted before. It charts the bosses throughout Philly's LCN history. I actually find The Brunos to be way more interesting than the NY families, even the Gambinos. I think the media's fascination with the Gambinos is mostly a matter of region. If The Brunos had been in NYC then Scarfo probably would've been a forerunner to Gotti in terms of national fame/infamy and Merlino would've been another Capone in the same way.

Sincerely, Sally

Awesome. I love the layout. Would be a decent way to do a chart for someone without the graphics resources.

Most interesting was the bit on Joseph Ida. I always assumed he was a strong leader because he handed down such a powerful family to Bruno. But now I'm hearing his Underboss Marco Reginelli might have kept them strong, while Ida was controlled by Vito Genovese!

He lived to a ripe old age alright, probably because he was put on the shelf, ha. Being that Merlino was the boss before Joe Ligambi, Ligambi obviously took orders from him and gave him kick ups. Seems he didn't have a problem showing obedience to such a younger man.

Sincerely, Sally

For Boardwalk Empire fans, the Lanzetti brothers metioned for John Avena and Josph Bruno are the guys the D'Alessio brothers are based off of.

"Ah I actually I didn't. It's a nickname the feds gave the
Genovese Family."
