Not sure how many of you caught this, but on a recent episode of Pawn Stars (I think it was last weeks', but don't quote me on that), a bound script signed by Al Pacino from GF1 and belonging to producer Robert Evans was an item featured on the show. You can read more about it below, but long story short, Rick ended up not buying it, and the owner was planning on selling it off at a church auction.

I watch it quite a bit, but I missed that.

I actually caught that episode last night. And I am glad that she didn't sell it to Rick. His offer was not, in my opinion, a fair one. I think that he was really trying to get over on that woman. To me, Pacino's signature or not, it was worth a whole lot more than his offer.

Another thing that bothered me about him bringing in his friend to "authenticate" the signature is that NEITHER one of them even considered that the "AL" could have really been producer Al Ruddy's. I immediately said this to my wife upon his reading the note on TV. To me it would make more sense that it may have been Ruddy's than Pacino,s. Ruddy wad the producer and Evans the head of production. So to me it would make more sense that the producer AL would write a note, on the screenplay, to the Bob, the head of Productions. Perhaps Bob giving AL Ruddy a copy of the third draft is what gave AL ulcers.

Speaking of GF memorabilia...here is something of interest :

Puzo's letter to Brando telling him how he felt that he was the one who should play Vito.

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.
