Can anyone shed some light on Anthony Senter and Joey Testa? I'm intrigued by these guys, they were so ruthless and dangerous yet they were doing this stuff in their twenties! Were they made by the Lucchaese family? After DeMeo's death why did they move from the Gambino's? Did Nino Gaggi not think highly of them to keep them working for the family?
Anyone got any stories they know about them other than what is in murder machine? Thanks guys!

It is thought that when big Paul took out the contract on Roy Demeo he gave it to Gotti's crew. They couldnt whack him or didnt want to, I cant remember which one. Anyway, I guess Gotti's crew told Big Paul to reach out to Gaspipe because he had the twins in his back pocket and they could get close enough to Roy to whack him. Casso promised Testa that he would be straightened out with the Luchesse's if they killed Roy.

And so it goes that they whacked Roy at the Gemini and then became part of a crew in the Lucchesse Family.

I think when paul ordered demeo dead he tried to give it to gotti but gotti was scared shitless of demeo so nino gaggi took care of it along with joey and anthony. Since Joey and Anthony weren't made they could ask for their release from the gambinos which happened a lot toward the end of paul's reign. They fell in with casso and according to casso murdered a Russian gangster on his orders in 1986

Roy wasnt killed at the Gemini.
According to Gaspipe, Joey + Anthony killed him at Patty Testa's house (they were there for a meeting).
Gaspipe set the hit up and got the twins working for him in return

no to my knowledge they have been in seperate prisons. i think your thinking of carmine the snake persico playing drums. ive heard that he did this with anthony senter in budner nc. the snake had a band called Lompoc 4 with Joseph Russo.

Does anyone reckon the Feds tried to flip the twins? There's now way however those two would of ever of flipped. To me their an example of why its not worth getting into "the life". They did a lot of bad shit, probs lived the high life for a few years but by the age of around 30 their in prison, and they won't be getting out.

I don't believe everything from Casso, but I think there is some truth to his take on the DeMeo murder, because he was so close to the twins and Patty Testa. When Casso got shot the first one to give him info on the shooters was Anthony Senter. Patty Testa became a made member of the Luchese and was very close friend of Vic Amuso, I think he was even a courier for Amuso when he was on the run. Patty Testa also got rid of Jimmy Hydells body for Casso too.

I remember seeing a picture in murder machine of them playing together but that's probably before they got locked up. Interesting that these different mob guys are playing in a band together. With Persico and Senter playing together, everybody probably applauded afer each of their songs out of fear more than anything.

I've asked this in the forum before and never got a solid response. Was Senter made with the Lucchese's? In Murder Machine it said he was only half Italian, but other's stated that in D'Arco's book he said he was made. Which is it?
