The police chief of Apodaca, a city in the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, and 10 of his bodyguards were kidnapped over the weekend by gunmen, officials said.

“We have 11 people missing in the city of Apodaca,” including police chief Milton Alvarado Rojas, Nuevo Leon Gov. Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz said in a press conference on Monday."

I wonder if this year there is going to be more police chiefs killed than last year? (Last year 158 police chiefs were killed).

Sadly I expect them to be found by the roadside with their heads and genitals cut off.

But what the hell was that police chief thinking by going save his men with onlhy 7 bodyguards?

Fortunately the Mexicans kicked out both the Spanish and French out of North America in less than 7 months. I don't think Hernan Cortes could wipe them out with a sneeze, most Mexicans already developed an immune system against native European diseases. Now back to topic: There has been many times were police/police chief have been kidnapped and returned back alive but how the heck could the police chief be kidnapped with 7 bodyguards by his side? He's a brave men none the less and cares about his body guards, should of called the army to wipe them out.
