Does any1 know if this family still exists today. It has been my understanding this family is dead but I have seen this family list on a few diffrent sites. The family seems small but looks like it still uses the the traditional LCN structure.

the family can be considered extinct because in the annual report on crime in California in 2003, is reported with 10-15 members, while the 2009 is not mentioned in any way.

It's certainly extinct as a viable family. Even before 2003. But that list, except for maybe a couple names, is correct as far as made guys still in that family still living. Some are in prison, others inactive. Basically a good example of a "glorified crew." And very old glorified crew.

It has to really fuck with your self esteem to be part of such a weak and pathetic enterprise. You wake up every morning, look in the mirror, you see your pale face, the heavy bags under your eyes and you say "fuck my life".

And if any of you happen to stumble upon Petey Milano or Jimmy Caci, don't be shy, go right ahead and give them a hug.

My one and only interaction with organized crime (that I know of) was with these guys. Namely, Peter Milano and a guy who I was told was his son. Mid-80s, I had a summer job during high school working for a printer, driving finished jobs to the customers. Rome Vending, Peter Milano's "legitimate" biz, was in the same industrial park/office complex in Westlake Village (west of the San Fernando Valley).

Between trips the owner of the printing company used to send me over to Rome Vending to buy cigarettes for him. Every time I went there, Peter Milano and his son would just be sitting in folding chairs in the warehouse, which was full of palettes containing what I assume was vending machine fodder. He was always smoking, looked 90 years old even then. They acted tough in a pathetic way, and put out that I was buying two packs.

I seem to remember having an idea of who they were because a friend’s dad of Italian background used to frequent a restaurant in the area, called Milano (in Agoura), and told me some of the guys that hung out there were “mafia,” including Peter Milano. Don't know if it was his restaurant or not.

The few tough guys who were around Peter Milano all laughed at him. They call him a mafia boss, but he's really just a wealthy businessman who watches The Godfather from time to time. He's a nobody.

I think a guy like Caci may still hanker for the good old days. But a guy like Milano is probably very happy with the way things are now. Everybody looks at them as finished, which they are, and there's really no heat. He lives comfertable on his legit money and a few remaining guys who kick up to him.
