About The Godfather movies, what would you ask them (assuming that Puzo were still alive)?

I'd have a tough decision to make.

I'd love to know more about the proposed Godfather 4 movie they were mulling over in the late 90's, but I would also love to find out who they thought pulled open the drapes in Michael's bedroom and what really happened to Clemenza ("that was no heart attack").

What questions would you ask?

I'd ask if Fredo was guilty, as it's certainly the most debated question in all of Godfatherdom.

That's a good question. I think it was a backup team from Roth. But there's also some insinuation by Michael that it was done by people from the inside, who were very scared. But unfortunately this is never cleared up.

I'd ask them why Manolo's scenes were left on the cutting room floor.

I'd ask them: Did GF2 make sense to you - curtains, 2million dollars, Fredo, "Michael Corleone says hello", Michael's escape, Rocco's suicide mission?

TB, I just don't see the upside for Geary while there was plenty of potential downside. Geary could not know how the future of a Mafia don and how it could impact his reputation and reelection. Turnbull gets murdered or gets indicted and then all roads lead to Corleone (and Roth for that matter) just as the country is learning about the Mafia's existence et al.
