Been playing this game recently, I must say it's MIND BLOWING!
Been a while since the last time I played a game this cool and action packed. I'm not a big fan of Western video games but this game is AMAZING!

It's a MUST HAVE for any Western-Action videogame fans out there!

I beat Alan Wake and finally started playing Red Dead Redemption. The games fun, huge and the graphics are good. Some would say this is better than GTA.

I want this game SO bad! I haven't played a truly great Western game since GUN on the PS2. I'll wait for the price to drop to check it out.

Gun was a great game, but Red Dead totally blows it out of the water. You should pick it up sometime forsure.

Just watched the video above, this game looks incredible. I'll get this one eventually.

New Red Dead Redemption DLC Info And Screens

Rockstar has revealed new details of the incoming Outlaws to the End DLC for Red Dead Redemption.

Having already announced details of three of the DLC's six co-op missions, Rockstar posted a summary of 'The Kidnapped Girl' mission along with some screens on the official site.

In the mission you and your posse will be tasked with rescuing a farmer's daughter being held in Fort Mercer. You'll need to storm the fort, defeat the gang members and hold off the reinforcements before escaping in a stagecoach.

The Outlaws to the End pack will be made available for FREE on Xbox LIVE and PSN on 22 June.

I haven't bought any new games in long time (other than a few Wii games), but I might have to pick this one up for my PS3. I see many reviews calling it the best game ever.

This game is amazing! It takes what Grand Theft Auto has been doing for years and what it has been attempting to do (add 'stranger' missions and side gameplay that is fun) and perfects it, blending all aspects of the game natural to a point where it's very hard to put this game down!

Rockstar hunting down Red Dead Redemption cheaters

Next title update for open-world Western aimed at eradicating "rotten apples" plaguing multiplayer; title update coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next month.

Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption has won both critical success and commercial triumph, but the developer recognizes there are lingering issues with the game. Namely, these concerns are in the game's robust multiplayer component, where Rockstar says a few "rotten apples" are attempting to soil the experience for others.

In order to eradicate cheaters from the world of Red Dead Redemption, next month, Rockstar will implement measures to counter hacking and cheating. However, the developer's attempt to rid the world of cheaters started today, with Rockstar promising it won't hesitate to promptly ban offenders for however long the developer deems necessary.

Further, the title update will provide anti-grief measures for the game's Free Roam mode. The developer said those who are being "bullied" will have the option to transport and respawn to any location they wish.

Additionally, those acting as bullies will be branded as such after six consecutive kills, at which point the aggressor will instantly earn Most Wanted status. This mark will alert players that there is a "player-killer" in the region and will also bring the heat from non-player character law enforcement.

------------

That's bad news for me... I guess I have to erase my illegal lv50 multiplayer savegame... :'(

I finally caved in and bought it for the PS3. I am only a few hours into it, but thankfully I am not disappointed. There are moments where I am just roaming through the wilderness, and I just can't wipe this big cheesy grin off of my face. I've spent a lot of my time just hunting. I can safely say that if MY John Marston was a real person, he would have single handedly been responsible for the extinction of crows, hawks, and coyotes lol

I love this game.

My son has put this on his Christmas list. The positive comments here are a bonus!

Wait until you get further into the game! You'll come across a herd of buffalo that don't respawn, meaning you can actually cause their extinction!

He'll definitely enjoy it, Yogi!

This is one of the best games I've played and it's still very addictive! The only thing that's disappointing is that the game is presented at 720p and therefore doesn't look nearly as beautiful as it actually is.

Within a few weeks Rockstar will release a new DLC for this game in which you fight against zombies and mythical animals. Looking forward to that!

So it's fair to say it's a Western GTA?
Sounds good to me!

This afternoon "Undead Nightmare" comes out as a DLC. Play a western zombie campaign, can't wait!

I will be asking the questions! Because I don't know them!

Anybody check out the "Undead Nightmare" pack? I think it's pretty good, if not a bit repetitive. Certainly a clever (and funny) departure from the seriousness of the main game, and the online zombie survival mode is fun. There's just not that much variety in the single-player game. Just travel from town to town, cemetery to cemetery, and kill all the zombies.

Still, for 10 bucks, its worth checking out.
