The 49ers lost for the fourth time in a row. They play the Chicago Bears next. Hopefully they will pull their heads out of their butts and kick some butt. I'm a true Niner Fan who will never turn trader, but they're making me angryy. It's time to bring back another Joe Montana.

Patience D, they are rebuilding and Mike S is the right man for the job.

If you want to feel bad think of us Giants fans. Our team is slipping into last place with the DeadSkins. Hows that for depressing. 5-0 became 5-4 and finishing 10-6 might not make the playoffs. We're back to the old Coughlin days of play not to lose and what do you do?.....LOSE! I know he "won" a Super Bowl, but come on Tom, show some BALLS!

dont worry dimaggio...the bears have no O-line, and the D is just terrible...i am actually happy this game is not televised.

Oh yeah? Your Raiders lost a few and got a buy recently. So, you didn't win or loose, but football in the bay in general hasn't been lookin' so great right now. Especially with your Coach being involved in that BS that he's in. wink

hehe, Just so you know I'm teasing a little. Obviously I'm a Raiders fan, but I'm a Bay Area fan and don't want any sports team here to fail. Unfortunately they all suck horribly with the exception of the Sharks. crazy

Nooooo really? I know you were joking Blib. Raiders and Niners fans hate eachother as much as the Redsox and Yankees do. It's all good with me, though. I saw a big ass truck the other day that said fuck raider haters in big letters. I never go that far because I agree that we're both from the BAY AREA.

Tom Cable is learning that it's harder to beat NFL teams than girlfriends. That guy just looks like a felony waiting to happen, doesn't he.

As far as the 49ers, singletary should pull his pants down more often. That seemed to work. Actually, I don't know what to think of Singletary yet. He undoubtedly elevated the passion of the team, but I don't know how good he is with the more technical aspects of coaching, compared with his peers.

I think Singletary has the team headed in the right direction.

That said, I know how you feel, my team, the Colts, they've oh wait, you said "lost" again. Nevermind.

The Niners will win. Singletary will make sure of that.

The 49ers play St. Louis, Detroit, Seattle, and Jacksonville after Da Bears.

No reason they can't go AT LEAST 7-9.

Da Bears have 2 games against the 7-1 Vikings, The Eagles, and Baltimore coming up.

If I was betting my money, I'd pick the 9ers to have a better record than the Bears at the end of the season. My preseason prediction for the Bears was 7-9, so say 8-8 for the 49ers.

Tonight's game should be interesting as the 49ers and Bears are unpredictable and inconsistent. I'll pick the Bears to win on the road, 24-20.

Hey, the 49ers won, but what a messy game. I was working the whole time and would turn the radio to the game to try and catch the score, and every time I turned it on I listened to another interception.

49ERS won for sure. I watched the game on the edge of my chair. It was definitely a sloppy game. we had five interceptions, though. Sorry Chicago fans, your quarterback sucks big time.

what's with everybody going after cutler? alot of the interceptions were NOT his faults. the 0-line has been terrible, the running game can't get no where, and the receiving is young. the coaches are terrible, and if you add this with defense then this equals to a TERRIBLE team. sorry about ranting, but i just had to say to something.

It is indeed a tough time to be a Bears fan. However, we cannot help it - it's in our blood...Da Bears!

Cutler has always thrown ugly interceptions, especially in the red zone. the receiver slipped on one of the picks, but decision making and judgment were never a strength for him. He's capable of having some very good games, but I don't think he's a quarterback you want to get you through the playoffs.

I'm sure DiMaggio68 is happy about the Monday night win over Arizona. Chances are the Niners won't make the playoffs, but they have a LOT to be excited about going into next year.

Funny how both San Francisco sports teams (49ers, Giants) are getting their act together while all three Oakland teams (Raiders, A's, Warriors) seem to be purposely shooting themselves in both feet. Must be a curse on the Oakland Coliseum/Arena complex.

If the 9ers can win 2 out of the next 3 against Philly, Detroit, and St. Louis then 8-8 it is. Da Bears have a tougher road to 7-9 though. They currently sit at 5-8 and play Baltimore, Minnesota, and Detroit.
