In a van down by the river!
I just bought season 1 of this show at Target for $5. Great deal, I think, but then I haven't seen it yet to know if it's any good. 10 episodes which is 8 hours of TV though...

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Are you talking about the old Ken Wahl series?

If so, that was a great show!! (and $5 for the season is a good deal).

Yeah, Sonny Steelgrave and whatnot... Still haven't seen it yet.

A great show Longneck! The Steelgrave episodes are fantastic. Especially for anyone who is a mob movie / show fan.

Don Cardi cool

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

Wahl is best known for the lead role of "Vinnie Terranova" on the television show Wiseguy from 1987 to 1990. The show brought Wahl a Golden Globe award, acclaim as "prime time's top hunk", and criticism for being "what publicity agents term uncooperative".[1] His final film appearance to date was the 1996 TV film Wiseguy, which brought back the supposedly deceased Terranova with little explanation. His performance, however, was deemed "virtuostic," by The New York Times, though the paper's critic noted that serious health issues hampered his acting: "He is clearly not fully recovered from a serious motorcycle accident and spinal injury three years ago. He moves gingerly. He's heavier, even puffy, and his face, carefully lighted, has a slightly battered look. In a shower sex scene, the camera stays carefully at shoulder level."[2]

He has not worked as an actor since 1996, and his website states that he is now disabled.

An excellent, short-lived TV series. The Sonny Steelgrave storyline in the first season might be the best. Later in the series, maybe the next year, Jerry Lewis does an extraordinary job in several episodes. I think he was a business owner in the garment district -- Ron Silver played his son -- and they were getting squeezed for protection money?

For $5 you got a bargain! It was an entertaining show.

I also remember Ken Wahl in two movies -- a very young Ken Wahl in "Ft. Apache The Bronx" and then he also starred in a movie called "Purple Hearts."

When Wiseguy debuted, I thought he was perfect for the role. I remembered him from those movies and thought he would have a ton of acting work after that. I was surprised to read Olivant's update that he's been unable to work for some time now.

Now I've seen a few episodes. It's pretty good, as realistic as I would expect from an 80's show. Glad I got it. I'm sure you guys could prbably get it from Target for $5 too.
