Hi everyone -

First of all, let me tell you all how glad I am to have found a forum dedicated to the discussion of all the great gangster movies! My wife thinks I'm a bit of a freak for watching Goodfellas at least once or twice a month, and now I know I am not alone. I tell people about Goodfellas and they say they have never even heard of it! I don't understand how that can be.

Anyway, on with the topic....I will be in NYC in july of 2004 for several days and would LOVE to take in some (or any) memorable sites related to the Godfather movies. two questions;

a) does anyone know of a guided tour that takes fans from site to site?

b) does anyone know of an online resource that provides detailed info on locations filmed in the movies (addresses, etc)? I'd be particularly interested in seeing the restaurant where Sollozzo and McKluskey were killed, the street where the flashback festival scene was in GF II, and so forth.

Thanks in advance -

Brian mc

Welcome to our board! You've definately come to the right place because all of our wives think that we are a bit crazy with this stuff wink lol .

As for any guided tours, there are really none that I know of. If you are looking for information regarding where scenes were shot, etc. this is the site to find the information. Do a little surfing around this site and I am sure that you will find what you are looking for. Don Geoff has really put together a fantastic site!

Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

I love this forum too! Although I'm not yet married like you fellas, I'm sure my future wife will have to put up with my weekly viewings of "Goodfellas", "Gotti", "The Sopranos", etc...

Found a little info for you, Brasi...
