I wasn't sure if I should post this in the general discussion forum, or the real life organized crime forum. If it's in the wrong forum then one of the moderators can move it at their discretion. Does anyone happen to have 2.6 million dollars lying around collecting dust. Cause it's going to take at least that amount to buy Al Capones former hideout. Al Capones hideout for sale Although I can't seem to find a link for a picture if there even is one. This article was sent to me br a friend who knows I'm fascinated by Al Capone

...ooops...just posted the link about the auction in the Real Life Organized Crime section. I haven't been on the boards for a while, and I didn't catch the posting here.
BAM_233, Dillinger was shot outside the Biograph Theater on Lincoln Avenue, just north of Fullerton Avenue, in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. I used to frequent the live music clubs in the neighborhood (Ratso's, Lounge Axe, Somebody Else's Troubles to name a few!) and my cousin had an apartment just across the street from the Biograph. I've been to the spot a few times, and much like the location of the St. Valentine's Day massacre, or a notable mobster's home, there's really no profound significance to the site. None-the-less, it's one of those "things to do" if you have the same fascination with organized crime as most everyone on the BB!
