After years of chasing Kaka, Real Madrid are so close to signing him. The transfer fee is a whooping €65 million and an annual €9 million which works out to be 150,000 weekly.
Rumors are circulating in Madrid that he will be
presented as a player as early as Monday.

Alexandre Pato is going to take over as the go-to man in AC Milan and is about to finally establish himself as one of the top top players in the world, if anyone still doubts it. his start in Inter was one of the most impressive things I've ever seen. the first time he ever touched the ball, he passed to Fernandao and the second time he scored his 1st goal. Inter went to halftime beating Palmeiras 4-0. a few weeks later he was World Champions against Barcelona and since he following year (2007) he never stopped scoring goal after goal.

Is Kaka the guy who bounces the ball on his head and runs through the defenders?

Tottenham Hotspur.

That'll explain my whining and my delusions of granduer.

Funny to see Newcastle go down...and Kaka will not go to Chelski.

Real Madrid Stunned By Kaka's Demands - Report

Greed is taking its toll as Kaka's father is asking the impossible from Real Madrid...

4 Jun 2009 14:35:32

Kaka's alleged move to Real Madrid was well on the way of being wrapped earlier today as AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani publicly declared that the Brazilian is most likely to leave Italy, whereas president Silvio Berlusconi said that the move was up to the player himself.

After the two clubs agreed a fee of €65 million, conflict has now arisen between Real Madrid and Kaka's representatives, who are making astronomical demands.

According to British paper The Mirror, Kaka's agent and father, Bosco Leite, is supposedly asking for a personal commission of €11.5 million, a sum that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez thinks is much too high.

Leite is also demanding a signing-on-fee of an additional €11.5 million, plus a transfer and €1.5 million for Kaka's younger brother Digao. This would make Real Madrid pay a total €89.5 million, a sum that would break the bank as the highest transfer in history.

Real Madrid have been taken aback after receiving these outrageous demands, and are unlikely to accede to the terms of the deal. Should this be the case, then Kaka will remain at Milan, having already declared earlier this week that he wants to stay put at his current club.

Kaka is in Brazil with the national team preparing for a World Cup Qualifier against Uruguay, and has not been given permission to leave the country to sign any deals.

He has also refused to make any comments about his situation, but the Spanish press are adamant that Kaka indeed wants Madrid, declaring to his friends, "Everything is almost done. I know that I will be going to Madrid. I am very happy."

The final decision concerning Kaka's future is expected to be revealed on Monday.

but you gotta remember that he was a bench player and played only a few minutes against Costa Rica in the 2002 World Cup when Brazil won. in 2006 he was only the least depressive of Brazil's stars.

and about his demands, the most absurd that must be really getting in the way of the deal is the one about his brother Digao. that guy just can't play shit!

Spot on, he's a good talent that'd do good anywhere. I just wonder if he'll sell. Milan aren't wanting to sell anymore after losing Kaka - and the only reason they've sold him is the fact that Man City came in for him in January at a ridiculous amount of money and they bit. The problem was, he didn't want to go - which probably didn't show him a lot of confidence. now they've cashed in for less but he's at a hell of a lot better team.

Although changing the topic slightly I reckon there's gonna be a lot of eyes on Sergio Agüero, I'd love to see him in the Premiership.

OFFICIAL: Kaka Signs For Real Madrid

The Brazilian has completed his long-anticipated move to the Merengues...
9 Jun 2009 01:00:20

Brazilian international Kaka has finally made the switch from AC Milan to Real Madrid.

The Spanish media have been claiming the deal, worth approximately €65 million, had been as good as done for some time, but it has now finally been confirmed by Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Real Madrid's statement read:

"Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, Kaka, is a Real Madrid player after an agreement was reached with AC Milan. The Brazilian footballer has now successfully passed all medical tests. Kaka has signed a contract with Real Madrid for the next six seasons."

Meanwhile, AC Milan's statement read:

"From next season, Kaka will play at Real Madrid. Milan thank Kaka the man and the great champion for his decisive contribution to the many victories over the last six years.

"It will be very difficult to fill the void that Kaka will leave, as he is a shining example of commitment and professionalism. A. C. Milan, on behalf of the Rossoneri managers, players and supporters, send him the most cordial and affectionate wishes for the continuation of his sporting career."

The Move

Los Blancos gave Kaka a medical today, flying a doctor out to meet the former Sao Paulo man while he was on international duty with Brazil.

The deal was made official after the 27-year-old spoke with Milan president Silvio Berlusconi over the telephone, although Milan officials have been reluctantly admitting over the past few days that there was the possibility their player could leave the San Siro.

Kaka joined Milan in 2003, winning the Ballon d'Or during his time with the club and played a starring role in the 2004 Scudetto and 2007 Champions League triumphs.

Newly elected Real Madrid president Florentino Perez promised to bring in big names after taking over, in order to restore the club to it's former glory after their inability to challenge for Europe's top prize in recent seasons. It appears that Kaka was the first name on his list.
