It's called Beertown B'hoys and it's about low lifes and criminals in 1890's Brooklyn. And if you want check out the blog B'hoys Town for more info. Just follow the links! Thanks!

J Geoff, if I win I'll come over and autograph your whole house! Wait, that's not really an incentive is it?

In a van down by the river!
I liked this a lot, I'd read more if you've got it.

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Steva, you are very talented. Cartooning is a great gift. Good luck and God bless. Can you share how you do this on the web? Applications, scanning, etc..?

Nice, Steve! Now I understand why you chose Monk Eastman as your avatar.

Great stuff.

You definitely got a lot of talent.

I haven't had time to follow your links, but I'm interested in your comic.

Since I live in California I have to make a selfish comment regarding your catch phrase from the image above. "The west was no longer wild, but the east was just getting started" is because the west turned to the fishing industry, where bodies were easily "lost" during stormy weather. I grew up in an area like this and I say the west was ahead of it's time when it came to organized crime. wink Much more secretive.

Actually pretty simple stuff. I do the drawing on paper and then just scan it into Photoshop. The word balloons are done with adobe illustrator.

Blibble! You must follow the link! Hurry! If I win the contest the comic gets to continue on the site. So I need all the votes I can get. Giving it a 5 star rank and making it a favorite helps too.

Bet yeah, I was just going for a catch phrase. I'd never slander the west's wildness.
