I know cricket is not the most popular sport but it is very big in Asia and this morning the touring Sri Lankan cricket team who were playing in Pakistan, were attacked by Taliban terrorists, injuring six players and the coach(who is British) frown
5 policeman were also killed in the action!!

The Sri Lankans were only filling in for the Indian team who refused to tour Pakistan after the Mumbai problems last year. No team will be going to Pakistan now i think.

Isn't the Coach Australian?

Causes more fear when they go after innocent people.

That's terrible. I don't blame the Indian team staying out of Pakistan.

Well, with the way India and Pakistan feel towards each other...

Yea yogi no one will be going to pakistan now or ever for cricket, thats over. its a shame because pakistan was a dominant force in international cricket for a while, with shoaib akhtar (even though their govt has forced him to stop playing). my best friend is from lahore and told me he used to go to that market when he lived there. its horrible that these lives have to be lost and fear has to be instilled in all pakistanis and anyone wanting to go there.
