I changed mine "preferred style sheet" to the dark one today. I've never changed it before. Anyway, I noticed that instead of black and red guns that tell me there are new posts, there are burnt pieces of toast with slabs of butter on them. Interesting choice JG!

Oh, and for those who don't want to change the look of the site, here is what I'm talking about... Plain burnt toast and buttered burnt toast!

I kinda like the dark one, too, but the standard template is the only one that I actually support when it comes to custom graphics and ads and things, so it may not be perfect...

What do you mean it's the only one you support? You didn't create all of those?

By support, I mean the custom graphics like site logo and guns, and ads, and whatever else that has a white background or whatever that doesn't look as good on a dark background...

It would just be too complicated, to create more than one version of everything all the time, then determine which stylesheet people are using, then deliver the correct items. Not impossible, of course, just more work than necessary for what it is...

I could probably do the guns at least, though... one of these days.

Dark forums are awful. White font on any dark background is pretty nauseating.

Dark forums are actually easier on the eyes for me -- not white on black, but shades of grey like in the example above... very soothing.
