I play, but only know the basics (as opposed to real strategy). I'm not that great, but did teach a couple nephews the basics. I haven't played online in many years...

You? tongue

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

I used to play chess religiously in Jr. High and won local city tournaments. But... that was when I was a kid. I've only played a few times since with friends and now with the kids at home.

Ice, where do you play online? I would enjoy a game or two to rekindle my lost love for the game.

No, No, and No.

I'm a checkers kind of guy. 8th grade checkers champ!

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Love to play chess sometimes. But not online against other people. Most of them are running a chess program along...not fair.

Never thought of that. Now I don't want to play online either.

I've done some email chess for a while. Then you can think 2 days about a move. Well, guess what, I'm running my own chess program and the moves against me are exact the same as my opponent did...and that with a ELO rating of 1600...yeah right.
