Firs of all, I'd like to say hello to all users in this forum - this is my first post. There is one thing, that I'd like to know ( maybe stupid, but interesting for me wink ) In GF3, during a talk between Michael and Tony, Michael shows the drawing, that Tony made in GF2 ( the one with car and Do you like it, dad ). Is this the original drawing, that was made during production of GF2, or is it completely new picture, that was made to look similar ?

Hard to know.
It doesn't seem likely to me that they already knew in 1973, they were gonna use the drawing again 16 years later.

Having been duly chastised in the subsequent post, this one is edited.

I think it was the original drawing. It is all folded up and it looks old. It could well be that it was stashed away with other props used in GFII and then found and used as a part of GF III. Who knows? Maybe one of FFC's kids did the drawing in the first place and perhaps he had kept it.

I'd venture a guess that all significant items & props from both GF and GFII were kept and carefully filed by FFC and company.

However since this was only a simple child's drawing on a piece of paper, it would be incredibly easy to copy or recreate for use in the scene in GFIII.

I like to think that Pacino stuck it in his pocket during a break in filming in 1972, showed up in that scene in GFIII 16 years later, forgot the cameras were rolling, and just pulled it out, considering he happened to be wearing the same pants.

lol

FFC said that one of his kids made the same drawing for him

This is the drawing that Mike saw before being shot at Tahoe. Before an attempt was made on his life, at his home where his children play etc. And he decided to keep this as a memento? I suppose it reminded him of the time he shielded Kay from "the horrors of this world" by getting her out of the way of those bullets.
