I don't want to turn this into a 9/11 thread but I was there. You were there. Cardi was there. Countless board members from the New York area were there.

I personally worked over 50 of those funerals. I watched the devastation on the faces of the widows and children as their husbands and fathers remains were lowered into the ground. And by remains, I mean a fucking fingertip in most instances. I was at 520 First Avenue (The Office of the Medical Examiner) every day for over a year, waiting on DNA tests to clear paperwork for the funerals. I watched the towers burn from my rooftop. I personally lost 5 friends that day. But that's okay, because some moron from fucking Nebraska thinks that pig Coulter was right in criticizing the widows of those heroes.

SB/PB, Iceman clearly mentions that he wants a failure in terms of Obama's policies getting implemented. Isn't that what any non-supporter would want? Nothing unpatriotic about it.

If you oppose the war, you wouldn't any pro-war policy to get implemented. You would hope that it fails to get implemented. Similarly someone who is against abortions would hope that any pro-abortion law fails to get implemented. And so on.

I DO think even this BB reflects a general attitude or sentiment in the nation. Something is different politically.There is an entire atmosphere that's different that applies to both sides.

I don't know if it's a sign of general frustration, as a nation;or a craving for some major changes. I, by no stretch of the imagination, know or follow everything that goes on in the news (even tho in recent years, moreso than before). I think, in general, we tend to assume our leaders take care of things and I think many people simply "trust" things will work out. Yet, especially in the situation our country is in today, I know I can't NOT pay attention to a larger degree perhaps than normal.

I noticed she seems to be in hiding, thankfully. BTW, did anyone catch her and Bill Maher in some debate a couple months back? I hear he wiped the floor with her.

You know, I've never seen any President's or presidential candidate's birth certificate.

And by the way, MSNBC cited an Obama birth reference I was not aware of: his birth announcement in a Hawaiian newspaper back in 1961.

There is also another Senator trying to get a law passed that all "future" Presidents must supply their birth certificates. Of course, the word "future" is key because he claimed he wasn't necessarily referring to Obama. My God, how often does this come up? (NEVER) And let's be realistic. Don't these people know that if there were a chance in hell that Obama wasn't a citizen, the RIGHT could have his ass on a silver platter?

FWIW, The more I seen this fringe right, the more I'm thinking that this is the small percentage who may be "bothered" by Obama's race but are afraid to come out and say it thus using this ridiculous claim as a cover of sorts.

Oli, I don't know if you are referring to MSN's Chris Mathews, but he had Obama's birth certificate and it had it's "seal" they were bitching about and I thought he said phone calls were made as well with the hospital confirming his birth.

The fact that they have been interviewed by press? That they relish the idea of losing their soulmates at a ridiculously young age, years before they should have, tragically and suddenly? That those who have children had to lose their fathers? That they had to break the news to their children that barbarians flew planes into a building and, when their dads tried to save lives, they instead gave up their own? That they had to bury their husbands in the glare of the media? That they had to help their children work through the shock and the grief while becoming single parents in a horrific instant?? That they are enjoying having to relive the moments of the attack over and over and over on TV, in magazines, newspapers, on the internet??

Is THAT what you agree with?? Could you please be more specific, because while you SAY that you went back and looked over these "statements", you haven't said what they are.
