I recently saw an episode of Law and Order that was based on this case. Charles Horman was an American journalist arrested and murdered in Chile in 1973 by the junta. The 1982 Costa-Gravas film Missing also told his story, and the US government's refusal to help the Horman family, and the country's involvement in the coup and in his murder. Excellent film, and wonderful performances by both Sissy Spacek and Jack Lemmon, by the way. Definitely see it if you haven't.

I have looked on the internet and can't find anything more up-to-date than 2004 on this case. I was just wondering if anyone else had any interest and/or information.
