#2 and #3 just sound too true. I believe #5 that you never travelled in a ship. The only people, who have sailed in ships, are merchant marines, naval personnel or tourists on cruises, and I don't think you fall within those categories.
Malaria and typhoid are more common in India than here, but this suspiciously looks as though it's a trap. Even so, I will find it to be true as I get a strong sense that you prefer wine to beer. Thus, #4 is the lie.

Okay.

#1. I am related by marriage to a former starting quarterback for Penn State.
#2. I held my high school's shot put record for 5 years.
#3. I won't wear a solid tie when I have to appear in court.
#4. I once attended a pork barbecue at a synagogue in Macon, Georgia.
#5. My cousin was an actor and appeared in TV Sit-coms and dramas in the 1970s and 80s.

Wow, these are hard ones Kly. ohwell One sounds reasonable, and two? Not sure what a shot put is, but guessing it's sport's related, but that too could be. #3. The solid tie, could be a superstitious type thing??? And, 4 & 5 sound like they'd be hard to make up out of the blue. So once again, strictly a guess, I'll say the lie is # 3 (maybe you reversed it and you actually always wear a solid tie). tongue If 5 is true, give us the scoop. smile

Was the pork kosher? lol

This'd be my guess. Well, unless it wasn't actually run by the synagogue. But I'll stick with this one.

TIS and blibble are right. The lie is #3. The fact is that I put little planning in what tie I wear.

#1. My wife's cousin is married to John Shaeffer, who quarterbacked Penn State for two seasons in the mid-80s and lost only one game, the '86 Orange Bowl.

#2 I set my high school's shot put record on 5/19/1981. The school's track team was only 8 years old when I did it, so I imagine it's been surpassed multiple times.

#4 Yes, it's true. I was attending the criminal defense college for a few weeks and they planned a big barbecue to begin the sessions, but it rained and the local synogogue had an indoor hall and let us hold it there.

#5 His name was Charles Murphy, sometimes known as Corky Murphy, and he had roles on Barney Miller and a host of other shows. He was a regular on a sit-com called "Doc," that was part of the CBS Saturday Night lineup with Mary Tyler Moore Show and Newhart. He was good friends with Robin Williams, Jackie Gleason. He died a couple of years ago.

1. My only Colts jersey is a white (away) Joseph Addai jersey.
2. I will be attending the Colts training camp for the 3rd time this August.
3. My wife's favorite blanket when in her recliner is my Colts blanket.
4. I gave away a Peyton Manning jersey to a female friend of mine during the 2006 AFCCG.
5. The Colts won the 2006 AFCCG a day before my mom's birthday and won the super bowl on my wife's birthday.

Then I'll say #3 because I'm guessing your wife is sick of all of the Colts memorabilia.

Is my FACE way off again? tongue

Your face is so far off it looks really messed up and bad. Like Oakland Raiders bad. tongue

I bought a framed Colts super bowl poster ($15, was $70) 2 Colts hats (1 to wear and 1 for autographs $10 and $5 each), and a Colts shirt for my wife's 6 year old sister yesterday.

Hopefully one of us is right because I have been waiting a long time to give me 4 truths and 1 lie. It involves celebrities.

Blibble, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT TO POST YOUR 5 THINGS.

You were wrong again,
