well finalllyyyy i was able to get hold of the movie gotti well I live in Bethlehem Palestine and it was kinda tough getting it ,, so I finally watched it ,, and to tell you the truth I thought it was exelleeeenttt I enjoyed it soooo much .. I wast just wondering what ya'll think about that movie ??

I thought it was an excellent portrayal, except for a few blatant inaccuracies. Specifically, how the McBratney hit and the disappearance of John Favara were completely misrepresented.

Still, it was a very good movie. Armand Assante was brilliant as Gotti.

I agree with PB, except that I think Assante didn't play Gotti realistically. His Gotti was too intelligent, too energetic, too, uh, responsible to be the real Gotti. A far more accurate portrayal of Gotti was done by Tom Sizemore in "Witness to the Mob," which was a very mediocre film overall.
The rest of the casting of "Gotti" was brilliant, especially Anthony Quinn as Neil Dellacroce.
