I'm in - Dunkin' DoeNutt 1. Are we going to have multiple picks with # 1 as the only one that counts?

I only have enough energy and stamina to do one bracket per tournament

NOTE: Women's brackets will be released tonight/tomorrow. Let's get more than 2 people in that one, k? ;\)

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

Ice, I love ya', but I've had my fill of Texas for a while. Maybe after Clemens is indicted and Bush is out of office, I can cheer for those guys again. \:p

Yeah, I guess I have to stop making assumptions.

Truth is, I've been to Houston a bunch of times and to Dallas once. It's a GREAT state, with super friendly people, so I guess it would be like you making the assumption that all New Yorkers are commie, bleeding-heart liberals.

Not fair.

Sorry Texas.

Believe me, I would MUCH rather live in New York. ;\)

Fact is, Austin is one of the best towns in the world, it really is. And it's FULL of commie, bleeding-heart liberals. haha

So just come on down to Austin one of these days and we'll find you a Jewish deli AND a Spanish Senorita~ on the same day, big guy.

Go Purdue, Butler, Notre Dame, but Hoosiers are Losers!

I used to be a diehard Purdue fan back in the days of Cuonzo Martin and Glen Robinson. Now I sort of root for them without watching the games.

That's why I can't cheer for Indiana.

We know, Rutgers didn't make it, which threw off your objectivity.

What a tournament so far!

Lots of upsets. Honestly, maybe the most ever. I'd have to look it up.

I did pretty lousy in my picks, but made up a little ground this weekend (tied for second-to-last rather than last \:\/ ). My Elite Eight are all still intact... for now.

Why is March Madness going into April this year? I hope this doesnt get "tostitoed" like the college bowl games which used to end on Jan 1 and now go to Jan 12.

I was wondering the same thing. Kind of like football starting in September instead of August....

Anything for a buck. The Madness of March is that it now goes beyond March. April Fool's Gold Madness Tournament sponsored by Trojan, the condom recommended by 4 out of 5 players. Going to the tourney? Don't forget your Trojan. Your team may lose, but you'll be a winner.

Yes. Go to the Gangster BB league through the link contained in the initial post in this thread and click on the various team names. I have Carolina beating Memphis although I think Mich. St. can knock off the Tigers tonight.

UCLA has gotten so lucky the last two games.

West Virginia should have beat Xavier last night, but that missed free throw with under 10 seconds left in the 2nd half really screwed them. That shot would have put them up by 1. Xavier came down to win and missed the shot, but ultimately won in OT.
