I've been listening to R.E.M.'s album Out of Time over and over and over and over on my tape player in the car. I almost look forward to driving just so I can listen to it again! It's on a cassette tape I bought for a quarter.

I love every song on the album. I had heard "Losing My Religion" and "Shiny Happy People" before and liked those songs but they aren't as good when place in context with the rest of the album because there are other songs I like better than these two radio friendly ones. "Endgame" might be my favorite song on the album, it's an instrumental.

This album has just gripped my brain and won't let go. Does this happen to you?

Long as I remember The rain been coming down.
Clouds of Mystery pouring Confusion on the ground.
Good men through the ages, Trying to find the sun;
And I wonder, Still I wonder, Who'll stop the rain.

Yes. I got the soundtrack to Rent for Christmas and keep it in my car, since Mr. Babe doesn't really like it. I listen to it over and over while I'm driving.

I could listen to any Beatles album over and over. I can also listen to Oasis's first two albums over and over.

Listening to a lot of Johnny Cash lately with a bit of Bruce Springsteen in the mix as well!

I've just recently gotten into Springsteen. Born in the USA is the most annoying song in the world, but Born to Run is one of the best.

Born to Run is in my opinion the greatest rock song of all time.

I'm not sure I'd say it's #1, but it's definitely at the top of the list.

I don't think I have ever heard BITUSA referred to as "annoying." To each his own - I think it is one of Bruce's ten best songs. If you're just getting into the Boss, Longneck, you ought to check out Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River, two of his most important albums. The BITUSA album is sometimes criticized by old school Springsteen fans, but I rate it as one of his best. How can you go wrong with an album that contains the title song, "Darlington County," "No Surrender," "Dancing in the Dark," and "Glory Days" all from the same record?

Back to the topic, I never tire of Springsteen, nearly all from the Stones, and 90% of Led Zeppelin (the ones that have not been "classic rocked" to death).

For me it has been the Rolling Stones 40 Licks Album. For the past few months I've been listening to that, the Doors Greatest Hits, and, of course, the Beatles.

Radiohead is just wonderful, so much so that I just can't even pick a particular album of theirs that I always return to. They're just generally great.

I've been thinking about it lately, and my "top ten albums" list is beginning to look rather concrete... I'd say the majority of the albums in there are ones I'm convinced I'll love and listen to forever, where as it used to change constantly based upon my mood. Well, that's looking like this, and I'm perfectly comfortable in saying they are collectively some of the best albums I've ever heard, and may ever hear... Anyways, here they are in the order they've just occurred to me now:

Kid A Radiohead (2000)
Strawberry Jam Animal Collective (2007)
The Velvet Underground & Nico The Velvet Underground (1967)
( ) Sigur Rós (2002)
Blood Sugar Sex Magik Red Hot Chili Peppers (1991)
Double Nickels on the Dime Minutemen (1984)
Band of Gypsys Jimi Hendrix (1970)
Tera Melos Tera Melos (2005)
Lover, the Lord Has Left Us (2006)
Dark Side of the Moon Pink Floyd (1973)

This is, quite possibly, my favorite song of all time:

Animal Collective - Peacebone
