Wow... I didn't know she was sick. This is a surprise for me, and a sad one. I enjoyed her work on "Newhart".

I'm sorry to hear that. I knew she had lung cancer but for some reason thought "perhaps" she had won the battle.

The Birds, Rome Adventure & Young Bloodhawke are two of the movies that I remember seeing years ago. I do remember her very short marriage to Tab Hunter. She was great in Newhart and the series finale was one of the best show endings ever IMHO.

You know I had her on my list but in the process of elimination I decided to remove her.

I agree with Beth, what do you say when/if a person is on your list. "Oh Boy?" Anyway, only 49 more to go Bethie.

My mother was always convinced that there was something wrong with her legs, because on Newhart she always wore pants or a long skirt.

That show was great, and she was so good in it. Shame.

I thought she was so good-looking. I didn't realize she was that young or sick.

RIP.... she was great in the Bob Newhart show, and that scene at the end of Newhart is one of the greatest in television history.

I just heard she was to get her star on the Hollywood walk of fame in a few days. Maybe they'll still do it posthumously.
