In either case, though, whether it is McNown or Culpepper, they are merely keeping the seat warm for Russell. I don't see how a QB with a broken finger, who goes on to toss 3 interceptions, gives a team its best chance to win.
The Titans have played the Colts tough over the past few years. It's nice to see some different teams starting off well: Detroit, San Franciso, and Green Bay come to mind. I prefer this than the same teams year after year.
Just as surprising is to see the Saints and Rams both winless.

What happened to the Browns today? I was visiting with my in-laws and we went to the Wooly Bear festival in Vermilion today and I missed the game? Are you a Browns fan as well Mig?

Well the good news is My Cowboys are now 3-0 Congratulations Iceman! I'm glad somebody around here is happy about their team! They looked good against a strong Bears Defense! They couldn't stop Owens. I'm surprised Romo has turned out to be as good as he is. I thought last year was a bit of a fluke but it looks like I was wrong!

Goombah,
Mig:
What happened to the Browns today? I was visiting with my in-laws and we went to the Wooly Bear festival in Vermilion today and I missed the game? Be glad you did not have to subject yourself to it. Derek Anderson stopped his Peyton Manning impersonation and came back down to earth. The Raiders could not pass to save their lives, but they ran the ball really well against the worst defense in the league. Browns offense was inconsistent at best and got a shot in the arm after Cribbs ran a kickoff for a TD. Our next legit shot to win doesn't come for another 3 weeks when we play Miami. Thanks Goombah. Honestly I always feel bad when my crappy team beats another crappy team of someone I know. So I won't be rubbing it in Goombah. Really neither team deserved the win. Blibble You hardly seem to be the type to rub it in. I agree with you 100% - neither teamed played well enough to gloat. I still am amazed the Browns were able to get the ball into position to win the game and why Oakland couldn't cover our receivers/TE at the end of the game. Culpepper looked pretty rusty and clearly is not the mobile QB he once was. But I think he's a good stop-gap until Russell takes over.
