Today I am listening to an audio Bible lecture. There is a word that constantly crops up which I don't know. It sounds like 'cabinet' and is used in this way: the 'cabinet' between God and men.
What the hell is this word and what does it mean?
Thanx

I am sure that you mean "covenant" which means a mutual and solemn agreement.

That's it.

I thought this was going to be a preachy post.

Damn. And I was ready to offend someone's faith.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."
