I know I don't post much but I had to come up for this. This thread will probably be my last major addition to this board. I was at the July 10th Hartford show at the Meadows. Greatest concert I've been to, even better then Bob Dylan's. The set list was excellent, the light show, the giant pig. I can't even form it all into a post. It was just amazing, even if I had to stand for all the two and a half hours. Here's the set list. My only problem is that "Welcome to the Machine" and "Amused to Death" weren't performed. In The Flesh Mother Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun Shine On You Crazy Diamond Have A Cigar Wish You Were Here Southampton Dock, Fletcher Memorial Home Perfect Sense Parts 1 & 2 Leaving Beirut Sheep (15 minute break) DARK SIDE OF THE MOON:Speak To Me Breathe On The Run Time The Great Gig In The Sky Money Us And Them Any Colour You Like Brain Damage Eclipse Encores The Happiest Days of Our Lives Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2 Vera Bring The Boys Back Home Comfortably Numb

I went last year, on the first American leg of the tour, as you know. I agree, it's the best show I've ever been to.
My favorite part was "Sheep". Especially when this uptight conservative behind me started flipping out when the 30 foot pig came out with "FUCK BUSH!" written on it's ass.
Oh, and "Bring the Boys Back Home" was an excellent transition, with the explosions going off behind the band and all...
Not to mention, the 15 minute transition between the two sets, with the moon gradually getting closer and closer to the audience, before a satellite came swinging around, and the sound of a heart beating began to fade into earshot.

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

I hate you both.
