After receiving my H.S. diploma today at the commencement ceremony, this thread goes out to other members of the class of '07, whether it be high school or college.

Graduating high school doesn't really excite me.

I'm just gonna go back to school again in the fall.

But I'm taking a huge step in my life, whooooooooppeeeeeeeee!!!

Salute!

My undergraduate commencement was in May, but I'm already taking summer grad classes, so it really doesn't feel like I graduated.

Congrats!

I feel likewise. It all seemed to be anticlimactic for me. Instead of a great beginning, or a great end, it just seems like it's time to get serious about things. I got through high school achieving, not over or under, just achieving, because I could. Now that my future's on the line, it's a different game.

Now I plan on going to the community college (Indian Hills Community College, or IHCC) for two years and then transfer to Buena Vista University (HQ in Storm Lake, IA, but they have a branch at IHCC) to get a degree in the political science field.

Thank you, SC, DJ, TIS, klydon. And I'll be sure to follow your advice, DS.
