Hello People! I am back again and again. Well, I wanna know who in this forum likes Twisted Sister. I have 2 questions...
Dee Snider and Company are on the road again, we can say "The Kids are back! Oh Watch out!!!" \:D

Ok, my questions...

1-Jay Jay French, the guitar player is the one who was at the beggining of the band. He might be the owner of the name of the band Twisted Sister. So, why Dee Snider is the writer of all their songs? Do they have an special agreement or something like that?
2-There is a song in the CD "Come out and play" called, "Be chrool to your scuel". I cannot find the meaning of the words "chrool" and "scuel". Are they written in a wrong way on porpouse? Does "scuel" mean "School"? And "Chrool" "Cruel"?

My only knowlege of Twisted Sister is as a line of dialogue in the movie "Gung Ho."

I remember seeing them in the local clubs in the late 70's/early 80's, before they became "famous". They always put on a good show.

Does "porpouse" mean "purpose"? \:\)

"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

People say I have a twisted sister.

But I've nothing against incest as long as it's mutual.

All my sisters are twisted, but it has nothing to do with incest. They are just in hormonal hell and misery does love company.

I was never a big fan of theirs, but I remember they had their 15 minutes of fame as I was entering high school. I think the titles were a reflection of the "street" imagery they used on that album cover, which was supposed to be street jargon/graffiti. This album cover link doesn't really do it justice, but their stage show more reflective of the street image they were trying to display.

A band from England named Slade used to deliberately misspell words in their songs (later covered by Quiet Riot) such as "Mama We're All Crazee Now" and "Cum on Feel the Noize."

Misspelling words in performed lyrics doesn't really have an immediate effect considering songs are heard, not read.

I used to live across the street from the drummer of Twisted Sister
