Yep, and I love it!

The one thing that stands out the most - Martin Sheen's screentest for Michael Corleone is the most horrible thing I have ever seen. wink

Michael: My father's no different than any other powerful man, any man who's responsible for other people. Like a senator or a president.
Kay: You know how naive you sound?
Michael: Why?
Kay: Senators and presidents don't have men killed...
Michael: Oh... who's being naive, Kay?

I can't believe they were actually considering Robert Redford to be in GF!!! Talk about a miscast. eek I don't remember, was it for Vito or Sonny that he was considered??

I thought it said Michael.

But Pacino was clearly the best choice for Michael. Everyone else seemed so out of place, then they'd show one of Al's screen tests and it was like "theres Michael Corleone." Maybe that's because he actually did get the role, and did a great job, but I think it has a lot to do with his incredible acting ability, and he was simply perfect for the role.
