"The Winter of Frankie Machine" is a upcoming 2008 film about an ex mafia hitman living in rural comfort is lured back into his former profession by the scheming son of a Mafia Don. The role of Frankie Machine will be played by Robert De Niro. I liked the novel a lot, and looks to be a promising film. It's also nice to see De Niro back in a Mafia film.

That's good news. Anything to get Bobby D back into dramatic roles. Although, I have to admit, he's proven himself to have tremendous comedic timing.

I read about this movie too. Your rigth Pizzaboy. I´v really been looking forward to see De Niro in a dramatic role.
All thoese comedy movies he´s done, kinda made me sick.
