I'm sure there are more. Hey Bogey, I see you posted Edward Norton for FIGHT CLUB. He is a phenomenal actor, but I think his performance in PRIMAL FEAR gets the nod. If I hadn't read the book first, I never would have seen that ending coming. I guess it's considered a supporting role, but it's still one of the greats.

I think the best cinematic character of all time is Travis Bickle of Taxi Driver.
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

What do you mean Charlton Heston as Moses? Heston is Moses!

No one chose Dustin Hoffman in RAINMAN? Actually, I think he was in my list. "Fart." "Charlie Babbitt made a joke."

No one chose Dustin Hoffman in RAINMAN? I prefer him as Ratso in Midnight Cowboy.
