The 5th circle of hell
NEW YORK (AFP) - Declaring "I'm in to win," Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton launched her 2008 presidential bid that could make her the first female president of the United States.

Clinton, the wife of former president Bill Clinton, lashed out at President George W. Bush in a video on her website as she ended years of speculation over her political ambitions to declare she was joining the race.

"I'm in. And I'm in to win," she said in a video on her website.

I woke up this morning with nothing to do and went to bed with only half of it done.

It would be cool if she won. What did she say about W?

I don't know if a pig is a step forward or a step back in terms of leadership.

What I found most ridiculous however typical 'Hillary' is how she'd be out 'talking to you'...and invited people to visit her website and share 'your ideas'.

It's her classic trap of lulling the gullible, starry-eyed into believing that if they can 'share' their thoughts and ideas and wants with her (i.e., I want the gov't to give me everything), then that that's what they'll get.

It's her classic, Socialist way of appearing to say everything while saying absolutely nothing.

The people of New York fell for it. Twice. Let's hope the majority of the USA are a wee bit smarter.

Do you judge a film by its audience?
A person by their friends?

Or the friends by the person?
The audience because of the film?

Interesting indeed; either way, politics is for gullible people in general, no?

Apple, you have a great knack for simplification.

Who did Hillary beat in 2000? Rick Lazzio. A child could beat him.

In 2006? Some nobody that the GOP threw out into the wind without any serious support. Yet Hillary spent $30+ million for that re-election campaign. Overkill?

Thing is, she hasn't actually faced a serious opponent in an election yet. I mean Apple, you think Hillary would easily beat Guilliani if the latter hadn't pulled out due to prostate cancer? She might have won, but it would have been a brutal cage fight.

Leftists, Liberals, or progressives out there...don't support Hillary. She is very much the successor to a person that such people of the left absolutely despised. Just like Richard Milhouse Nixon, she's transparently ambitious as fuck, scheming little shit, backstabbingly ruthless, and outright unlikeable as a person.

Of course, I think Hillary won't win the Democratic nomination for 2008. People in that party want someone besides her to carry their banner against McCain in 2008. But who?

As of this posting, I'm adopting a new domestic policy that's more important and impressive than anything that Dubya could ever produce: A.B.H.

A.B.H. (Anybody But Hillary) will support any Democratic candidate that could stop, defeat, or overthrow Hillary.

So Obama and Edwards.....call me!

P.S. - Obama, Edwards, and Hillary...what's the difference between them? Only one didn't vote for the war in Iraq, then turn around and call it a super mistake. clue? His middle name is Hussein.

Don Smitty, Pig is too nice of a characterization. That is giving Billary too much credit. I can't understand the lure. She's is an opportunist. Why did the Clinton's move to NY? So Hillary could be visible. Senator Hillary Clinton of Arkansas just doesn't have the same clout. Oh, she's probably a nice lady, but honestly, does she really care about America? Her motives are doubtlful, her intentions transparent. America needs leaders, not politicians and Billary is the second one. I'd sooner vote for Obama. At least he appears to be genuine.

Since Hillary/Obama/Edwards are the only serious contenders for the Democrats...

I like Edwards. I would probably vote for him if he got the nomination.

But one thing about Edwards nags me. Like Kerry, he basically voted for the Iraq war in 2003 simply so he wouldn't be called a pussy during his Presidential campaign.

Then once the war goes bad, he says that his vote was a "mistake," and how now he's against the war. Certainly at least he was more natural with his changing of positions than Hillary. Hell, that fact might be a major reason why she doesn't win the nomination in 08.

Obama? Unless somebody(Apple?Drudge?) can dig up proof to contradict otherwise, he was always against the war.

One good knock against Kerry in 2004 was that he flip-flopped.

Obama may apparently be a bigger liberal than Hillary, an incredible thin record of any substantial efforts within the Senate(which makes Edwards breath easier), and so forth, but he sounds more appealing than Hillary like Babies over Hitler.

Well, of course they did!! When the alternative choice was
John (Reporting for Duty) Kerry...I'd say the majority of the USA did indeed make the smart decision in re-electing G.W. Bush.

Let's hope their wisdom prevails in 2008.

And still can't, according to what I've heard.

But again in '96, the voters had the alternate choice of Bob Dole...who might've been a terrific President, but proved to be a terrible candidate. It was a bad nomination choice because Clinton could've been beaten by the right guy.

Anyway, that's old news. Back to the (oink, oink) subject at hand...

A pig doesn't work right as an animorphic symbol for Hillary.

Someone get a bitch* picture quickly!

*=Sorry Pervs, female dog. Call up Lassie. I'm sure that bitch hasn't had work lately. Easy one-day photo shoot.

Oh Apple, you just so forgot also about Dick Morris' Triangulation campaign strategy that allowed Clinton to keep the liberals firmly in his camp(since they wouldn't vote for Dole, they had no choice), and gobble up as much of the independent voters as possible, making Dole's campaign unable to gain voters outside of Republican and/or conservative-laden voters.

Funny how Morris becomes one of the major Anti-Hillary people within the conservative ideological press media, yet he helped Bubba get re-elected. Apple, go rip him a new one with an e-mail sometime in making fun of his deal. I got a nice "Thanks for writing to me, Fuck You" reply from his account.

Not to mention that Dole acted like an old shit, or Reagan without the charismatic grace. Its bad when Norm MacDonald becomes an image of Dole whenever his Viagra-popping name erects into your subconciousness.

Could Clinton have been beaten? Oh yeah. But Dole's campaign, Clinton successfully pitching himself to the masses as the moderate safe-sane choice(ala LBJ in '64), plus Newt Gingrich shooting his mouth off(the media killed him when Newt wanted to throw welfare mothers in the joint) just screwed Dole.

I figured Hillary would be smarter than that to run. I mean she should know that the US is tired of being divided at this point and people would love to see someone who brings both sides closer.

If I had a vote I'd have put my feministic support aside and would say: Oooobama, come to mama!

I honestly would have to know more about Hillary's position on various issues before I could decide if she's worthy of a vote. I agree that she is ambitious and rather cut-throat, but how does that make her any different from anyone else that has run for this office? I doubt that she'll get the party's nomination. I don't think this country is ready to vote in a woman for president, much less one with the type of history and baggage that she's carrying.

DS, I understand that you're not a fan of Senator Clinton, but why would you want to refer to her in such an antagonistic way? While you may not respect her politics, she's still a human being. I may not be a fan of the President's, but I would never refer to him as President Dumb-Ass.

Yeah Smitty!!! What's the matter with you thinking that you can exercise your rights of freedom of speech and expression? What do you think, that you're a liberal?

Don't you know that the left only supports censorship when a negative opinion is given of someone from their side?

Definition of a Pig : having short legs, cloven hooves, bristly hair, and a cartilaginous snout.

Informal Definition: A person regarded as being piglike, greedy, or gross.

I don't know. Looks to me that Smitty's use of the word pig was properly applied when defining a certain Senator from New York!

If Don Smitty wants to exercise his freedom of speech by demeaning another human being, then I can certainly exercise mine by pointing out how completely and utterly without class it is to do so, or to defend it.

Oh please...the same majority of independent voters that went for Dubya also went for Bubba.

Either they're foolish all the time, or wise all the time.

Guess which choice I'm voting for.

Besides, Hillary permanently made sure that I would do my best to keep her from winning the nomination with that bullshit of hers after the "Hot Coffee" situation happened with GRAND THEFT AUTO: SAN ANDREAS.

Hell, even my fellow game-playing bruthas over in Europe thought she was an opportunistic bitch*.

When I saw this I thought maybe Cheney had changed his mond and decided to run, then I thought of that pig Bernard KeriK or his former boss Rudy "Il Duce" Giuliani, but then to my surprise, it was just some sliming of Hillary.
