Hey everyone, i wanted to ask if anyone had ever heard of burning man. Its an event that happens every year in the Navada desert. Tens of thousands of people come and they build this mock society. it deals alot with art and what not. i've never been, but a friend of mine has and said it was amazing. anyone in here ever been? has anyone ever heard of burning man?

I've heard of it and seen stuff all about it on television but honestly, I still don't get it. It's weird.

yeah..it does seem a bit weird. but my buddy loved it...though he just can't explain to me what it is. he keeps saying...you have to be there to understand. the only thing he explained, that actually caught my attention, was that at the end they burn the "man" but they also burn this structure they make..and everyone can put something in there they want to forget about..like pictures or anything. it's supposed to heal you spiritually. for some reason i found that to be....nice.
