I still want to know, if he hasn't been smoking the reefer, what substance has he been caught using?

So what's his plans this time. Another 'soul searching' endeaver and return to play in '07? That's what it sounds like and he'll have to accept nothing more than a back up role surely. Maybe Denver will again show interest in him in a years time.

CFL bound, anyone?

Doesn't the CFL have some kind of affiliation with the NFL? Surely they wouldn't allow this move, as unlikely as it it, to happen.

Edit: I just found this interesting article http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/CFL/Toronto/2006/04/28/1555127-sun.html

Quote:
A loophole in the NFL substance abuse enforcement policy allows suspended players to play in another league. The CFL does not have a substance abuse policy, so technically if a player has a particular problem with drugs and/or alcohol, there's no way to suspend him. But if the club finds that it is an issue, it can release the player because pro football contracts are not guaranteed -- only signing bonuses.
