I didn't mean to sound so mean -- I was just very tired last night! If you start playing again, just let us know! I was gonna leave SC in, tho, cuz he was kinda playing... But in any event, looks like AL is last now! :p

No, no, I understand, and it was my fault - I kept thinking I'd set it, but I should've said something sooner.

It's changed from a passion to just a "job," which tells me I've lost interest. Also, I'm really trying to keep focused on schoolwork this year.

I wonder if my grades will go up when the baseball season ends?

Finishing last in a league with only JL, myself, JG, and DM is nothing to be ashamed of.

At the very least you have my compliments, anyway.

You've proven yourself to be a player to be reckoned with.

Support is one thing, TM. I've always said that your pro-rated scores were pretty much as good as anyone's and that if you could just break the "missed days habit" you'd be right up there with the contenders, but let's not get carried away here.

A shutout for Bedard? I don't think so....

I didn't think they'd be playing today in Philly, at least not two. We shall see.

Hey, thanks guy! And congratulations to you for being #9.

I rarely look at the Weekly Leaderboard unless I think I'm having a great week, and this one didn't seem like anything particularly special, so thanks for pointing it out.

Okay, here you go: congrats! :p

But alas, I'm #97, not #9... I only noticed you were up there when I noticed you had more points for the week, so I checked. (And good ol' ESPN ( ) is still linking to the Segment 1 Leaderboard...)

I just noticed my congratulating you for being #9 - alas, a typo

But congrats for being #97 - and even #107 - is certainly called for, given that tens of thousands of people play this game.

There's still hope. PL did pick the Phillies' pitching staff.

PL is still #5 going into Sunday; and with the probability that not too many noticed the D/H, and if Philly does well, then he could finish the week even higher.

I'm down to #176 and JL is down to #222...

OH! We won't know that until tomorrow... I thought you meant 1st in our group - which he did tonight, passing JL.

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

OH no, him being first in our group wouldn't surprise me lol, I figured with him being in 5th for the week and being one of the apparent few who knew there was a d/h today..

1- Dumb luck....I'm still trying to figure out where that second Atl-Phil DH came from

There was one DH on the schedule which they played on Saturday, right?

So where did this one from tonight come from? What game is it making up?

I only found out about it because I happened to be reading the ESPN Message Board rather late last night, and they were talking about it there, and people weren't sure if there was gonna be a doubleheader or not even then.

2- How do you get onto the ESPN page which shows the standings for this week. I don't remember or can't figure out how to do it.

Anyway, JG, you'll be good enough to post a screen shot of the final standings for the week for posterity, won't you? I doubt if I'll finish first for the week, but I oughta be somewhere in the Top Ten.

Remember, my high finish represents the quality of play in our entire group, not just my own.

Go to the frontpage of your team and on top it says "leaders". Is that what you mean?

They were rained out Friday, but they already had Saturday's D/H scheduled. The info said "TBA" -- and as of Saturday night I didn't notice it for Sunday (who the fuck would have D/Hs 2 days in a row??), and then by the time I did notice it, it was after the 3AM deadline.
